Deep Sea Fishing Pensacola Fishing Report – Inshore Fishing Pensacola Fishing Report Week Ending 05/31/2026 – Recreational and State Water Gulf Snapper Season Opens
Due to extremely rough and windy offshore conditions, we pushed all of our charters for this week into the upcoming week. May has gone out with a whoooosh. Hopefully June affords calmer offshore conditions.

Inshore Fishing Charter Pensacola
I worked on the Little Mermaid (2001 Ranger Cayman 191 w/200HP Merc), this week, installing a new fuel gauge and fuel sending unit and replaced the fuel filter. Captain Eric and I also did some trailer repairs to our bass boat. On day 2 of the repairs, Captain Eric dropped me at the ramp with my light tackle and I went up the Blackwater river looking for Bass. I did not find any in the 4 hours of zipping up and down the river but Patricia and I had a great time working out the Skeeter TZX190. We got lots of rain this past week so we had to make good use of the sunshine and focus on the repairs. We’re planning a run through Indian Bayou here on the Escambia next week to see what we can find.
