NW Florida / Pensacola Fishing Report WE 11Aug24

Offshore

4 offshore trips this week and caught Red Snapper, Amber Jack, Bonita, Trigger Fish, Mangrove Snapper, Vermilion Snapper and a Red Bigeye. Most fish were caught on cut bait but the bigger fish tended to come off of a free line with live bait drifting from the back of the boat, poppers, 1oz. silver spoons or live bait suspended under the boat. The water is still hot and the waves were usually 2′ or less. We fished with Bonita and squid cut baits and stopped for live bait on the way out. The channel buoys are holding bait and the small artificial reefs near the Joe Patti Memorial are holding bait as well.

We offer exciting offshore fishing trips like the ones this week featured in the Pensacola Fishing Report, where we caught Red Snapper, Amber Jack, Bonita, Trigger Fish, Vermilion Snapper, and Red Bigeye. Book a fishing trip to experience the thrill of these catches!

Inshore

We fished one inshore trip and struggled to locate the trout. The heat really has the inshore slow and lethargic.

Nighttime

No nighttime charters this week.

Fly Fishing

No Fly Fishing charters this week.
