Offshore:
Waves allowed 1 trip offshore this week. We landed red snapper, triggerfish and a 26″ AJ. Water temp was 79F. The bite was not great but we had a fair day just the same.
Inshore:
No inshore day trips this week
Nighttime:
Fished 2 nights this week. The bite progressively got better as the week went on. The trout spawning period started with the full moon this past Thursday and the fish were really turned on that night. 79F water temp.
Fly Fishing:
Nighttime fly fishing hauled in three 20″+ Specs and many other good size trout this week. Plenty of schoolies were in the mix as well. A handful of rat reds and a slot red were also pulled in. The water was 79F and current was good with moderate to low water flow at the time we were trying to catch fish.
