Offshore
Made two runs offshore this week. Of note, we limited out on Red Snapper the first day. We only caught one snapper over 16″ on the second trip. We boated a 32″ Jack Crevalle, lots of Triggerfish with the largest being 20″, AJs with the largest being 28″, a handfull of Vermillion Snapper and a pair of Mangrove Snapper. Conditions were 1′-2′ on the first trip and beautiful calm seas on what was supposed to be a 2′ day. Winds picked up in the afternoons. Water temps were in the high 80s with air temps in the 90s.
We offer exciting offshore fishing trips like the ones this week featured in the Pensacola Fishing Highlights, where we caught Red Snapper, Amber Jack, Bonita, Trigger Fish, Vermilion Snapper, and Red Bigeye. Book a fishing trip to experience the thrill of these catches!
Inshore
No inshore fishing this week.
Nighttime
Night fishing in the Perdido area. Caught 15 trout with the largest being 17″ and a 23″ Red. Water temp was 91, the highest I’d seen to date. Fish were lethargic and it took an effort to get them to bite. Solunar tables predicted high activity but the water temps must have knocked it right out of them.
Fly Fishing
No Fly Fishing this week.
